Slow B2B Growth? How to Prospect Right
The question
I started my business very lean, doing B2B, on the side, while doing my day job. However, it seems adding new customers has been slow. What is the best way to prospect and add new customers?

For slow B2B customer acquisition on your side business, while keeping a day job, you should focus intensely on targeted outreach to decision-makers in ideal client profiles, leveraging warm introductions where possible. Networking at industry events is highly recommended, if you can make time to attend.
Content marketing that solves specific industry pain points can also draw inbound leads. Write on platforms where your target customers can find you.

If you have existing customers, how did you get them? You need to document the exact process that works. Since you still have a 9 to 5, you might need to hire someone to help with prospecting, lead qualification, and conversion. This person should start by following your exact process so they can reproduce your results and they can scale from there. This works for both direct sales and paid acquisition scenarios.
